WINTER CAMP
Whether you’re a returning player or new to the league, our Winter Camp is a great way to kick off the season. The Ahwatukee Little League Winter Camp is a two-day annual clinic held each winter break to help players ages 7–12 sharpen their skills and prepare for the upcoming spring season. Hosted at Mountain Vista Park, the camp offers hands-on instruction in core fundamentals like hitting, fielding, and base running in a fun, supportive environment. Lunch is provided for all players and coaches, and each participant is expected to bring their own snacks, water, and basic baseball gear. With limited space available, registration typically opens in the fall and fills quickly.

OPENING DAY CEREMONY

Join us for Opening Day as we kick off another exciting season of Ahwatukee Little League! The ceremony includes opening remarks, sponsor recognition, player introductions by division, the Little League Pledge, a league-wide group photo, the national anthem, and a ceremonial first pitch. All players should arrive in full uniform, including grey baseball pants.

Special guests from the Ahwatukee community help make the day memorable, and professional photography and videography capture the highlights. Parking is limited—carpooling or planning to park and walk is highly recommended.

LITTLE LEAGUE DAY AT CHASE FIELD
Every year, the Arizona Diamondbacks invite Ahwatukee Little League to participate in their annual Arizona All-Stars Day—a special celebration recognizing youth baseball across the state. This annual event takes place at Chase Field, where players and coaches in uniform are invited to join a pregame parade around the warning track. Discounted tickets are available for families and friends through our league’s exclusive link, with a portion of each ticket sale donated back to Ahwatukee Little League. It’s a fun-filled day of baseball, community, and unforgettable memories for our players!

LEAGUE PICNIC

Ahwatukee Little League invites all families and friends to join us for our Annual League Picnic, held each season at Ahwatukee Park. Come enjoy an afternoon of free food, games, and community fun as we celebrate another great season!

Event highlights include:

• Sponsor Row – Meet the businesses that support our league
• Dunk the Ump – Take your shot at dunking a coach or umpire
• Majors Home Run Derby – Watch the league’s top hitters go yard
• 50/50 Raffle – Big prizes and a great cause
• Online Auction – Bid on amazing items donated by our sponsors

Games will conclude prior to the event so all families can attend. Bring your chairs, tents, and coolers—BYOB is welcome (alcohol not sold on-site). Please note some areas will be reserved for vendors and sponsors. Don’t miss this fun-filled, end-of-season tradition!

KIWANIS EASTER PARADE
Ahwatukee Little League proudly participates in the Annual Kiwanis Ahwatukee Easter Parade hosted by our generous sponsor, the Kiwanis Club of Ahwatukee. Players and coaches are encouraged to wear their jerseys and meet outside Nello’s at 9:30 AM. The parade begins at 10:00 AM, traveling down 48th Street from Warner to Cheyenne. After the parade, families are invited to enjoy the Spring Fling Festival at Ahwatukee Community Park from 11 AM–4 PM, featuring bounce houses, food trucks, Easter egg hunts, and more!

CLOSING DAY CEREMONY
Ahwatukee Little League wraps up each season with a Closing Day Ceremony at Ahwatukee Park, immediately following the final championship game. The ceremony celebrates the season’s achievements, with division finalists and champions receiving rings, sponsors recognized with plaques, and Player of the Year awards presented to standout players in the AAA and Majors divisions, along with a few additional honors. The event typically lasts about an hour, and while attendance is optional, all families are welcome to join in this end-of-season tradition.
