District 13 All-Stars Tournament

AHWATUKEE SWEEPS DISTRICT 13 CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!

On July 8, 2023, for the first time in Ahwatukee league history, all three All Star teams swept the District 13 titles!

- The 12U squad defeated Tempe South 9-2. 12U never trailed, tacking on multiple runs in the 2nd, 4th, and 5th innings. The 12U squad's victory is all the more impressive after losing their first two pool games by 2 combined runs. They went undefeated the rest of the way!

- The 11U squad avenged its 2022 championship game loss against Chandler Nat'l North, winning the game 8-4. Lead by a stellar starting pitching performance (5 IP, 8 Ks, 2 hits, 0 ER, 2R), 11U jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead and never looked back. 11U went undefeated in the tournament.

- The 10U team continued its impersonation of the 1927 Yankees, smashing Tempe South 17-2 and winnning by mercy rule after 3 innings. Across 6 total tournament games, the 10U team outscored its opponents 74-10. 10U also went undefeated in the tournament.
