2021 Spring Season Update

To our Ahwatukee Little League Community: As you know, the baseball fields are closed by the City of Phoenix until 2/1/21 at the earliest. The City of Phoenix will evaluate from there based on COVID-19 rates on whether or not they will open the fields at that time.

We still plan on having a Spring Season for Ahwatukee Little League. However, with this change in schedule, we are planning for the following:
- Winter Camp, scheduled for end of December, is cancelled. All registrants should have received refunds for their Winter Camp registration.
- Early bird registration has been extended to January 31, 2021.
- Tryouts are scheduled for February 13th.
- Opening Day is tentatively scheduled for February 27, 2021.

We will strive to play as many games as we can and plan on completing the regular season the next to last week in May and playoffs by first week in June.

These dates are subject to change based on the City of Phoenix's decision on the field opening date.

We remain optimistic on having a season in 2021 and have multiple plans in place depending on when fields will open up.

When fields open up, there may be restrictions and mandates that we will need to abide by in order to play. We will present those once the City of Phoenix provides its regulations.
